Our ratings are opinions

Scorecard scores and assisted living grades are our opinions, calculated with a published method from public government data. They aren't statements of fact about any facility, endorsements or guarantees of care. Medicare's star ratings and state inspection findings belong to those agencies and are shown as published.

Not medical, legal or financial advice

Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice. Talk with doctors, discharge planners, elder law attorneys or benefits counselors about your situation, and visit facilities in person before you decide. In an emergency, call 911.

Accuracy

We work to keep data current, but government data can lag or contain errors, and conditions at a facility can change after an inspection. Confirm details with the facility and the original source. The site is provided "as is," without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we aren't liable for decisions made using it.

Links

We link to facility websites, Google Maps and government sites. Links to facility websites are marked nofollow and aren't endorsements. We aren't responsible for other sites' content.

Reviews

We don't accept reviews yet. When we do, these terms will be updated with rules for what can be posted and how reviews are moderated.
